Merry Christmas one and all! Happy New Year too! My juices really got going early on the morning of December 26, when one of our local early morning newscasters exclaimed that “Now she could take down her Christmas tree.” I sat bolt upright in bed, and yelled “No!” at the television. From the Assistant Rector
The woman standing in line for the department store return desk said, “I just want Christmas to be over.” It is a remark I hear often and a telling comment on the dreaded stresses of the Christmas season. Family relationships are easily intensified during the holidays with breaks from normal routines. For most people holding to the ideal of loving one another seems to be one thing, but the actuality of living peacefully with one another is an all together different endeavor. (More...)
